Hope you all are well and ready to gear up for New Year with new hopes and new ambitions set for the year ahead. It is so easy to make New Year’s resolutions but hard to stick to them. A study says that only 28% of people keep their resolutions and the rest of the people soon give up their ideas and objectives. Are they not capable of doing hard work? The answer is every person is unique and capable but what matters and differentiates them from the rest of the world is the preparation, direction, and determination. I came up with super six mantras that will make you shine and positive to achieve your objectives. Let’s begin with the first super mantra:
1. EARLY MORNING ROUTINES
If you are not an early riser, then you have to change your habit to achieve your goals. Those who wake up early in the morning can handle almost all difficult situations in life by better planning and fresh hours to use wisely. There are unlimited reasons to wake up early in the morning and these are scientifically tested and proven. Some of these are:
- It improves concentration and memory to learn
- It reduces the stress level
- It is the best and peaceful time to meditate to relax the mind.
- It creates a positive aura and positive energy.
- A fresh mind to think about solutions to the hardest problems.
So the question is how to start the day?
Always drink water after being woke up. Start your day with the toughest task. Trust me, it will take the least time to solve and finish as compared to any other time of afternoon, evening, or night. If you don’t believe in magic then this is the high time to try this to see the amazing results.
2. EAT RAINBOW FOOD
There is no doubt how this pandemic made us understand the importance of a healthy life. For living a long stress-free and quality life, we need to understand what our body requires. It is highly important to incorporate most colors in your diet. Let’s not stick to your two or more favorable dishes only. Let’s eat different colors of food like red, white, green, blue, orange, and yellow. Supplement your diet with lots of veggies and fruits every day. Eat seasonal fruits, do experiments in cooking with different veggies, include a protein-rich diet, and don’t forget to take nuts for instant energy. You are set for the day this way with a super energetic body.
3. INVEST IN YOUR BODY FOR 10 MINUTES
Take 10 minutes to stretch out your body. Do simple and easy exercises to ease your muscles and relax your body. Don’t overdo it in the initial days even if you feel to push a little bit more. Soon your body will be habitual and you can extend the time for more than 10 minutes. Otherwise, you will be going to end up with this routine soon after long stretching and several body pains due to muscle contractions. So stick to 10 minutes routine daily. It will give you inner strength, refresh your mind, and make you more focused on your goals. After all, the body is the only place where we actually live in.
4. MAKE A SUCCESS LIST
Most of the people work on a to-do list for the day which includes 10 to 15 tasks start from taking bath and go to bed. If you really want to achieve something big, you need to avoid this habit. Start with a success list. Now the question arises what is it?
Choose your 3 goals a day. Write it down under the success list. Do work hard, plan it in your schedule, achieve it, and tap your shoulder at the end of the day. Soon you will be realizing the power of a success list. I strictly advise you not to include more than 3 goals per day. I am really sure by following your success list, this way you will feel more productive and positive.
5. BEDTIME RITUALS
A sound sleep is much necessary to start afresh day next morning. Most people do complain of mind wandering when they try to sleep. The reason behind this is stress, unfinished work, deadly timelines, negative thoughts and high expectations. Eat one hour before your set time to sleep. Keep all your gadgets away not only from your bed but also from your room. Keep them in another room always to get rid of the addiction to screen time at night.
If you are now thinking about your alarm set on your mobile phone, then it is the right time to buy a simple and traditional alarm clock. It will do only one work that is to wake you up. I suggest you to follow the above tips to meet the deadlines by making a success list, to feed your body with rainbow food, give a healthy life to your body by doing exercise, to sleep better without worries.
You will automatically get a sound sleep if everything is being achieved as per your schedule. Take 8 hours of sleep every night to have a kick start a fresh morning the next day. Sleep early and wake up early every day.
6. REMEMBER GOD IN YOUR PRAYERS
Always remember God in your prayers. Talk to him when you wake up. Be thankful to him that he let us see another day of hope. Pay your gratitude towards him when you go to sleep that he let us enjoy and helped us throughout the day. Make a connection with the Almighty in your prayers. Ask for strength and happiness to live your life. He has chosen the best way for you.
